Privacy Policy

Beta service — this policy may be revised before public launch.

1. Information we collect

At signup (app beta): OAuth identifier (e.g. Google), email if provided, birth date (14+ check and in-game name), gender (name lookup and aggregate stats).

During use: meal photos, optional notes, posts and comments, access logs and device info, timezone for meal windows.

We do not collect in MVP: precise GPS (future feature with separate consent), payment data (no paid tier yet).

2. How we use data

Account creation, meal logging and rank progression, community features, security, service improvement, and legal compliance.

3. Retention and deletion

Data is kept while your account is active. You may request deletion via email. Some logs may be retained as required by law.

4. Third parties

OAuth providers (Google), hosting (Vercel, Cloudflare), analytics if enabled. We do not sell personal data.

5. Landing and waitlist

Minigames on foodbook.cc run in your browser. The global waitlist uses Google Forms — see Google's privacy policy for form responses.

6. Cookies

We may use cookies or similar tech for analytics and ads. You can block them in browser settings; some features may be limited.
